Last night after work my friend and I decided to check out this place. The guy who was in charge of ground floor was very rude. Although all tables were empty he said all of them are reserved. Funny part is reservations were hours away. We wanted to order from bar and he said we should not stand next to restaurant area and if we want to order we should order from other side of bar?! I don’t know if it was a race thing or him having a bad day but if you’re not white just be informed. (The bartender was really sweet though. He made us very nice cocktails, but never go there again).
Gluten free menu available, just ask at the Bar. The Wagyu beef steak was good and the chips are very flavoursome (herbs on then the and tasty aioli style sauce). Great lunch venue! Comfortable seating, relaxed atmosphere, not too loud. Toilets Upstairs.
Great atmosphere! Staff were friendly and food was great... the margarita pizza was everything a pizza should be and the fries were delicious! The seasoning and dip is addictive! Only hang-up was some of the food was over priced but willing to pay due to quality.
Jam Restaurant Bar has interesting facts - Why are Pubs called Hotels in Australia? A pub, short for Public House, is an establishment whose main function is to serve alcohol, mostly beer. Also known as an Ale house or Tavern. The reason for this is that until recently, in Australia (late 1980s), pubs were forced, by the liquor laws, to provide accommodation and so were accurately called hotels.
